Think about...This!

How old are you? let's say you are ∞ years old. Not necessarily though.
You think you are ∞ years old. How do you know that though? Maybe
you are 5 minutes old! Maybe so. All your memories from 5 minutes ago
to the earliest memories could just be a sham! Perhaps they were simulated,
perhaps you were programmed to think that you are ∞ years old.

Maybe, you don't even belong in this universe--maybe,  it's false!
If you belong in a real, true universe, yet you are in this simulated universe,
maybe a co-worker or friend sent you here as a practical joke!

I might not be real. I certainly think I am, but I might just be a part of this
fake universe, all for your relaxation. I might be a recreation of my past
self from the future. I might be part of a giant history lesson for a kid in the
year 3000. Who knows!?

Do you think you are real? Are you sure?

Think about oil

No, really though! Think about it.

Think about what is made out of oil.

Pla....Plast...PLASTIC!! That's right!
Anyhow, look at THIS!

What can YOU do to get rid of plastic trash?

Think about Nuclear energy

Nuclear energy. It seems that everybody puts it on the clean energy list, but I think it's one of the worst ideas ever.

You might say that I am wrong, but then again it is just an opinion, but coal is much cleaner than
nuclear energy. This is because even though coal energy means constantly belching out smoke, the
solution seems to be planting more green things. That's a whole can of worms right there.
But nuclear "nuculer" energy has to dump out stuff to, but here's the kicker, it stays for thousands of years.

Back in the 40's, when all this dumping was unregulated and nobody really knew that cows grew wings
from radioactivity, companies would sludge fields, and simply pile dirt and tarp it up. In the 70's, another
company bought this land, and built some houses there. Are you wincing yet? Well, in 1980 this was found, and the government bought some of the land.

How do you know that you're not standing on some glowing sludge right now?

Coal is not clean either, but plants get rid of carbon dioxide and give us...breathe in now...oxygen!
We can--and have--engineer plants to get rid of our crap! Japan has made flowers for the side of the freeway that specialize in car chemical removal.

However, plants cannot deal with sludge.

What do YOU think?

Debating Stimulus payouts vs. Tax cuts

Okay then. Our first debate.

Which is better? Stimulus payout? Or Tax cuts (to promote business.)
I think that Tax cuts are better because they promote growth. I made a bullet'd list of what could happen:
  • Neshubakastan issues a 10% Tax cut on earnings from 20%  of total last year.
  • Nijan inc. makes $1,000,000 in profit this year.
  • Nijan then has $900,000 left after tax.
  • Nijan buys $400,000 in supplies, where as last year they bought only $250,000.
  • Nijan then makes $1,200,000 the next year.
  • Nijan gives out bonuses for the great year to every employee, who all buy a 3D-TV.
  • Pascaano inc. makes 3D-TVs.
  • Pascaano makes $250,000 from Nijan's employees.
  • Pascaano's stock goes up 18%.
Now, lets give some people bailouts.
  • Bunta-ko inc. is $50,000,000 in debt.
  • Asona's Government gives Bunta-ko $75,000,000.
  • Bunta-ko is similar to Kouma, who also had the same debt and got the same amount of money from Asona.
  • Bunta-ko has $25,000,000 left, so buys out rival Atamesho.
  • Bunta-ko's stock goes up 10%.
  • Meanwhile, Kouma has also $25,000,000 extra.
  • Kouma has had a record year despite debt (all of which was from a lawsuit against Kom-Toijok.)
  • Kouma pays its top 5 CEOs $5,000,000 EACH.
  • All CEOs put their new dough in a Swiss bank, never to be seen again.
Whaddya think?

Think About the Economics of LEGO

This isn't really an issue, but heck it's sure something to chew on
    while you drive to work.

For those of you who didn't know this, I am just about a teen. And this is a school project.
Everyone else was all about feeding African people, but I said, "Yea, that's original." I didn't want
to be like everyone else. And I'm not!

Onto the show! I sell LEGO parts online, and I've been amazed at some of this data!
I've sold a $40 Minifigure (LEGO man,) a $15 head, and a $8.50 horse blanket (I think it was called
a barding.) Who buys this? About 160,000 members are on this network, Bricklink.
I attempted to explain this apparent miasma that is LEGO below:

    • Why is LEGO worth so much? Well, time is money's friend.
You can't be hard pressed to find some 20 piece, 30 year old sets for $/400. Which is funny considering that they probably payed $5 or less at the time. Even I realize the value, and yes, I do keep some sealed sets (Collectible Minifigures, Google it!) The main other reason for value is the logo next to LEGO. LEGO--every kid loves. SW--Adults love. LEGO SW--Everybody loves!
LEGO Star Wars, whose minifigs account for HALF
      of all Bricklink minifig sales.

LEGO is an icon today, and many other iconic companies have created LEGO toys in their image. I even own a couple old Coca-Cola co-branded minifigs from 2002! Batman+LEGO was also around in the mid/late 2000's. A SINGLE LEGO Batman minifig could sell for $40 or more (I sold my Joker for that much.)

    • Why would anybody spend that much for LEGO minifigs? When "why not" doesn't work, I say it's because of how cool Batman/SW/Whatever is to Mr. Person. With tens of thousands of LEGO-loving adults with jobs are online, prices tend to go up for some things. Also, someone like Nannan Zhang, an Adult Fan Of LEGO (AFOL) doesn't have all the Batman minifigs for his new My Own Creation, who is going to get Catwoman for him?

Nannan Zhang shows off his LEGO uninverse (ha ha, I wonder if you get it.)

    Hope all that helps.

Having heard all of this, if you have some dusty old LEGO toys wasting space, and you like checks, shoot me an e-mail right HERE.
